SAN ISIDRO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

      This school site which is 10,000 meters lies at the eastern part of the rolling terrain of the townproper of Antipolo City and located at C. Lawis extension in Barangay San Isidro. It is acquired through the donation in 1968 but its original site was  in Barangay San Jose somewhere along the national highway going to the town of Teresa. Engineer Eladeo Llanes Jr. surveyed it on June 6, 1976.

      The present school was only a replacement when the original site was sold. A six-room building, Marcos Building, was constructed in 1968 and San Isidro Elementary School came into operation during the school year 1968-1969. It started as a primary school.The pioneer teachers were Mr. Villanueva, Miss Rebecca Ruadap, Miss Beatry Dillera, Mrs. Herminia Udasco headed by TIC, Mrs Violeta Navarro in 1970, the school completed with 6 grades as an elementary school.

​     Since 1968, nine principals had served and have been serving to uplift the life of the people in the community through education. They are Violeta Navarro 91968-1972), Dolores Gedang (1972-1978), Ligaya enhaynes (1978-1985), Iluminada Anclote (1985-1993), Reynaldo Bernardo (1993-1995), Matilde Eniceo (1995-1996), Mercedes Villagracia (1996-1998), Norma Maalindog (1998-2004), Fe C. Herrera (2004-2008), Antonio D. Agcaoili (2008-2011), and Dr. Gloria A. Benedicto (2011-present).

     Now the school has 116 teachers which includes 1 NFE mobile teacher, with total population of 5450 pupils and manned by a Principal III.
