San Isidro Elementary School conducted an In Service Training Seminar (INSET) which enriches the intellectual foundation of the school faculty on October 27-31 at the school library.

This seminar aimed to equip teachers with the necessary competencies to cope with the constant modification of curriculum, innovations, and approaches in teaching to address learners’ needs.

The INSET was facilitated by teachers who possess knowledge and abilities of their topics that they gained through meaningful trainings and seminars.

Different strategies of teaching different subjects were shared.

In addition, using Excel Microsoft in computing were also discussed that gave a good thought to those who are not yet doing computerized grades.

Meanwhile, applications of those strategies were demonstrated after each talk.

Dolores Agong, EPS 1 in Science expressed her appreciation to the faculty for attending the training consistently.

“Your attendance signifies your hunger to become an effective and efficient teacher”, she said.

Agong ended the seminar by sharing the story of a deaf turtle.

The faculty enjoyed the INSET because aside from the knowledge and new approaches that they grasp on the seminar they also enjoyed their free snacks and lunch.
